I Heard The Bee

by Christopher Cole   Jun 14, 2005

One day I was sitting and staring straight
All of a sudden I heard a buzz
I looked around from left to right
Until I saw a bee

Then when it noticed that I was looking
All of the buzzes just went away
There was not a peep to be heard
But then the bee spoke

Tell you the truth it really did
It told me to do the best thing
I sat in wonder
Not knowing what to do

Then I remembered
About my girls best friend
The next day I heard the bee again
Still it told me to do the best thing

So I sat and I thought
Oh what could it be
Then I remember the lie I told my parents
I set it straight and let them know the truth

I thought it was over
Later that week I sat on the couch at about noon
When out of the blue the bee lands on the TV
I get up to go to the TV

The bee flies away
At the same time it was yelling, you know what to do
Without a doubt, I wondered again
Then I thought of something that had to be it

I went and apologized to everyone
The ones I said bad things and rude comments to
But then again it was wrong
Because the bee came back that night

He repeated it again
You know that to do
Then he flew off
And disappeared

It got hot so I opened the window
The I laid down and went to sleep
When I woke up I saw a piece of paper on my bed
It said thank you young man for everything you've done for me my child, you finally found out the problem, you did the right thing and set me free.
