A Peaceful Moment

Sitting on the front porch
Is truly where I love to be
Swinging and relaxing
A peaceful moment for me.

The breeze slightly blowing
Wind chimes.. music to my ears
Absorbing the clean fresh air
And nature's sounds I can hear.

The beauty of the scenery
As I glance all around
The patio filled with flowers
Fragrance just profound.

We need these alone moments
That's sometimes hard to find
Just to gather our thoughts
And to slowly unwind.

As the sun begins to set
I thank God once more
For giving me another day
To live life and enjoy nature
In such a peaceful way.
