To a friend

In this world things come and go.
with life's twists and turns is hard to determine what the future may hold.
the only real guarantee is that nothing stays the same, and least when we expect it our lives are changed.
if by some time we happen to lose touch please know that i'll be thinking and missing you very much.
so before today ends i wanted to say i'm thankful we're friends yesterday and today.
with time and good luck on our side i hope we see each other forever and stay friends for life!!
i really hope to see you next year cuz friends like you are hard to find.
you know? with the way you are you had showed me a lot of things, you had made me grow as a person and see the world a lot different.
