Numb

by Jessica Rauen   Jun 15, 2005

Every time I look into your eyes,
Every time I see your face,
Every time your soft lips brush upon mine,
Every time your hand holds mine,
I feel so numb,

I'm all alone,
I see you,
But your with her,
The girl you love,
You never loved me,
I'm not good enough,
Not rich enough,
Not clever enough,
I don't have the right clothes,
I look over at you kissing her,
And I feel numb,

And I miss you,
Miss your lips upon mine,
Your hand in mine,
Your eyes those beautiful eyes,
Staring into my lost eyes,

My broken soul,
and I fell numb
I see you alone,
Outside my house,
your tears mingle with the rain,
I run out to your open arms,

and I feel your heart beating with mine,
Your soft lips upon mine,
In the end I found out,
It was me you loved,
Me who kept you warm,
Me who fixed your heart,
And now..

.. Now i don't feel numb,
as long as I am with you,
I never will,
because love,
love is more than just a word,
more than that,
We're in love and nobody can stop that,
Stop our love for each other.
