They Say but I know

by Danielle   Jun 15, 2005

They can laugh all they want
tell me he isn't worth it
but I see him for what he's worth
I see the sweetness in his smile
I hear the tenderness in his words, the joy in his laughter
I feel the love in his touch
and I know he's worth all the risk

they say he'll never change
tell me he'll walk away before the sun raises
but I see the truth in his eyes
I feel forever in his kiss, eternity in his whispers
I hear his sorrows when he cries
and I know he's worth the ache in my heart

they say he's using me
tell me I'll be burned in the end
but I see all he can be, all he is when he smiles
I hear the truth when he speaks
but I know he's in love with me
cause I see us both falling into forever whenever we make love

they say he'll never change
so whats he doing with me?
