Now all I can feel
is the sunshine on my back
The warmth of the sun
on a day at the beach
just sitting on the sand
I'll never go back
to the cold and darkness
living in a locked room
with no key
with the shadows of creatures
casting along the wall
there will always be a dark spot
near the back of my heart
for all he horrid, sour memories
of the past couple months
I will never be able to completely forget
but in my head
oh way so back
will be a spot for it
as I sit here on
the sand white beach
reminicsing the past
I promise myself
