Born to Hell

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 15, 2005

Cuts and scars upon my face,
yet my murderer's done it with out a trace.
I died within the Devil's embrace.
I find my self in a fiery place.
Why have I gone to Hell you ask?
I do not know so I shall ask.
My life has gone; my time has past.
Replies the Devil calmly.
"But why not Heaven? I must know."
I ask the Devil quietly.
"There is no Heaven."
Says the Devil.
"So all of us are born to Hell?"
I say not expecting an answer.
"Yes."
The Devil replies quieter than before.
"Now bow down to your true lord."
And so I bow down to my new lord
feeling even weaker than before.

7th line i think a coma needed not a semi colon

i think the conversation with the devil is intersing but should be rhymed too:)

I like this one...but the rhyming kind of threw the flow off...at the beginning the rhyming was perfect and then in the middle it just didnt rhyme anymore...but i did like the message in this poem..nicely done.
