All I Could Do...

When we were
together all I could
do was be happy
and dream of our
furture.

Well it turned out
to be the opposite
of my dreams. You
played me and then
left.

For the first six
months all I could do
was blame myself for
your faults and always
thinking about what I
did to make it go wrong.

I started to relize that
it was you who messed
up. It wasn't the way I
looked, talked,or walked.
I'm my own person, you
are not me, you are not
in my life.

So I started to move
on then just when I thought
I was over you you came
back and said,"I need
you back".

So please understand
that all I could do was
say no!
