Down the Drain

One day i was putting on
makeup in front of my bathroom sink
i was in a rush i was out of time
no time to even think

i was putting things down picking things up
i was totally insane
i knocked down my wedding ring
and it headed down the drain

i teared through the pipes i cut my hand
looking for that thing
i bumped my head thousands of times
and finally found the ring

    Wow. This was really nice...It can also be symbolic too...and that is what is good. I thought about it as you were going too fast with your relationship and your love or ring went down the drain. lol. it was still good. xxx

    I think that there are places in this poem where the rhythm seems to falter. Also there seems to be some punctuation missing i.e. commas. However the concept works well.
