The Call

You stopped calling for quite a while
for you to call I'd run a mile

it was a Thursday night
when you called i screamed with excite

You said you'd call right back
but i love you were words u lacked

i looked out my window i knew it was the end
so i called Serena, my closest friend

i didn't say a word
crying was all she heard

i started to feel weak
then a tear rolled down my cheek

she said did he break up with you
i said no but he's going to

then a call came through
i saw it was you

she said be strong
it won't take long

i said hello
i already know

Serena said it'll be alright
you can make it through the night

i tried to stop to tears
but it felt like a year

it had been a month or two
i said i was through

i was almost over him
but he came back again!!
