I Long For Him

I long for him to hold me
To fill my soul with peace
So I will never stand alone
Just to let my sadness cease

I long for him to see me
To only catch one glance
So that I won’t be unnoticed,
To give me that one chance

I long for him to know me
To make everything alright
So he can be my guardian
And show me all the light

I long for him to feel me
To caress my face and hair
