One day you took my hand
And somehow you made me fly
You could understand
Everything that I felt deep inside

You made me believe
That I could do anything
You made me be
All that I can be

You've done so much for me
I'm not sure how I'll ever repay you
You've helped me through so much
I'm not sure how I'll ever thank you

You've taken me on this journey
And we still haven't arrived to that place
Where we've found our true selves
And where we have serious problems to face

Growing up isn't so easy
But with you by my side
Is a breeze

You've taught me so much
You've helped me and more
You lift me up with words
You make me fly and soar

I love you
And I will never lose the memories
I will always love you
And I will never forget those memories

So fast time has past
We've been together for oh so long
I'm glad we're friends
You never get me wrong

You've changed me into something I never thought I could be
You've helped me so much
You, someone, have finally made me see what I really am

The stars have spread across the sky
The clouds have drifted away
Yet its not time to say goodbye
Tomorrow is always another day

I'm so glad I'm your friend
I'm so thankful to have someone in my life like you
