The Light

by Jenn   Jun 16, 2005

The pain is getting harder,
The darkness falls around.
It’s hard to pick my body up,
From lying flat on the ground.

This life is way too hard to live,
It’s hard to stay on track.
Nobody will even notice,
If I do not come back.

They’ll go on with their lives,
As if I was never here.
But have I ever mentioned,
That dying’s my biggest fear?

I’m sure all of my friends,
Will gladly help me through.
They’ll help me straighten out my life,
And make me better, too.

I really need my friends,
To understand how I feel.
That way they’ll really know,
My feelings are for real!

Cuz, that’s really what I need,
True friends to help me see.
How many people would really care,
And how many would really miss me!
