My dad went to jail
they wouldn't post his bell
days went buy then i got a letter
the humor between us makes everything better
he asked me to send him some soap on a rope
because he dropped his and to pick it up "nope"
on he wrote "i had to turn myself in,it was the right thing to do"
"I couldn't teach you how to do right without me doing it to"
"dear dad,I got your letter just now"
"the decision you made would make any son proud"
"when you get out, you and me all the way"
"build that business from the ground up then lets see what everyone has to say"
"and about that soap on a rope ill see what i can do"
"until i get it to you, don't bend over or you might become someones boo"
