I love you with all my heart,
But do you feel the same,
You said something that hurt a lot,
But do you realize I feel shame.

Shame of telling you,
Just how I feel,
Saying that I love you,
What you said will take a while to heal.

You broke my heart,
Doesn’t that mean any thing?
I hope we last just a little longer,
Because I don’t want another fling.

If you love me,
Why did you say it?
Did you mean to?
I don’t want to split.
