A Message to all Readers

Writing poems of two people who've hurt me,
The closer the people the deeper the wounds,
This is true no matter whether it's intentioned or not,
But it's also true they can heal you to be better than before,
I am done with the hurt and pain,
But I'm not done with the two people in my life,
I know my friend will read this,
And I hope she understands,
What I mean when I say,
I care for her in every way and never want to part,
No matter how deep she's cut me,
She's always been in my heart,
No-one can think you to be a bad person,
Because I'll correct them each time,
Friends aren't those who never harm you,
They aren't those who try to make you feel better,
Friends are honest, even when it's bad,
Friends are those who mean no harm,
Nobody can go through life without hurting a single soul,
You can only go through life trying,
Do the best you can to protect people from pain,
And to save them and do what's right,
My friend, you've done what's right,
You've tried so hard not to hurt others,
You're a good person with a good soul,
And from now on I'll make sure you always know!
