Why must you turn to me
when your troubles are overflowing
I have my own problems too
and yours just keep mine growing

your cries cut into me
draining what's left in my heart
you're breaking me down quite well
can't you see I'm falling apart

shouldn't you be grateful
you think that someone cares
but trust me- no one needs your sorrow
nobody needs your tears

your tugging at my neck
your begging me for light
whatever heart is left in me
can't bear to see such a sight

so please, just turn away from me
