I Think of a Golden Sun

by samuel   Jun 16, 2005

I think of a golden sun today;
He is mercilessly sharp
And will tolerate no forgetting
To dress light.
He had given the warning
As the clouds lost their gray;
He had sounded the note
As the trees stood oppressed;
Yet you took no warning
And came off ill for it.
You may need to take your time,
Or simply get lost!
