Better Off Alone

She ran upstairs
and slammed her door
she couldn't stop crying
couldn't deal with him anymore

all the cheating and lying
he never was true
now she's all alone
letting go of pain he put her through

she looked in the mirror
her hair such a mess
mascara running down her face
she missed him less and less

her hair was soaking wet
and she didn't even care
all she ever wanted was him
she thought he'd always be there

but he was so different than she thought
she was left with only a memory
all he ever did was lie to her
and she was to blind to see

she wanted him to love her
and to be his one and only
but he didn't want any of it
all she felt now was lonely

he just used her
and broke her heart
left her alone in the rain
letting her world fall apart

she thought she was in love
but now she knew she was wrong
she's better off all by herself
she just wants his memory gone
