This poem kind of describes my relationship with my savior, Jesus Christ. I wrote this poem when I was struggling with my path of following the Lord. Of course I didn't struggle with all the things listed , for I wrote them because my friends, family, and maybe many of you have. Let this be an inspirational poem, and gift to you if you feel down or are in the same situation or have been in the past.

I am only a human this I know
So I may do deceiving things and let my stupidity show
But God forgives
I may drink or even cuss
always raisin up a fuss
But God forgives
I may slip up a time or two
wonderin if God is there and if he's really true
But God forgives
I may Say hurtful words to the ones I love
more precious then my life
like the angels above
But God forgives
I may lie or smoke a joint
wonderin if I should stay alive
I don't see the point
But God forgives
So all I ask is why does he care?
When all I do is leave his and others lives in despair
The answer we'll never hold
besides the fact that his heart is purer then gold
So whenever your in wrong
and you feel you can't go on
Get on your knees and pray
For you might not be here the very next day
