Once I was walking
and found a penny heads up
on the ground.
I picked it up and put it in
the pocket of my pants,
The next day I wondered around school
with those same pants on...
with that lucky penny in that pocket!
Then while I was looking around
our eyes met.
Then of course you came over
to me and said , "Hey!" but also
got the nerve to ask me to be yours.
I immediately said YES right off the bat
not knowing what would happen.
Weeks past it was just so perfect of course that penny was always with me. I called it my lucky
penny!
Then one day it disappeared and that was the day you broke my heart.
I guess it was luck only luck that brought
me to you!!
