Rainy Days

This poem may not make sense, and I wrote it a while ago so it's not my best, but I still appreciate any votes or comments.~

Dark
Gloomy
Wet
Depressing
They take away the sun
And your happiness
For awhile
They make things look sad
Lonely
The sky is gray
Breaking promises
Of a happy new day
You look around
The streets are wet
People cold and damp
The rain hitting against buildings,
Splitter-splatter
Cars driving through it,
Splish-splash
One quick look
And its all gone
All of yesterday
That one rain drop that you saw fall
That one will never fall again
Its life so short
So unappreciated
So unthought-of
That quick
It’s all over
Gone forever
