I've been through it all
watching everything i know fall
watching my father dying
my mother crying
watching the fight
this is my life

questions ponder in my head
waiting on the dead
family breaking apart
no one knows where to start
here i lie
this is my life

taking one step at a time
as though i am blind
stumbling around and falling down
listening to all the sounds
thinking 'maybe i might'
this is my life
