Shattered

You don't care.
I know you don't,
you say you do,
but then you won't
stop the pain,
stop the lies,
it's killing me,
and I just cry.
This isn't my norm,
the tears falling down,
but damn, its hard
to turn myself around
and be happy and free,
like I used to be.
It's getting better now,
All so filled with dread,
as I was a few weeks ago,
but I still feel dead.
The dead inside,
The pain I feel,
It's just everlasting,
and like Achiles' Heel,
It strikes me there,
My one weak spot,
It shattered my love,
and broke my heart.
