When the sun rises,
And the day dawns,
Will I have forgotten?
Will I be okay?

Will it all just fade away?
Can these memories flee?
Will this insanity ever stray?

I’ll take this key,
And lock myself in.
I’ll say goodbye,
And let my memories free.

Upon no one, I can rely.
So many advise,
Yet no one sees these tears I cry.

When the sun has risen,
And the day has dawned,
I will remain forever locked,
Within this mental prison.
