Nothing is More Memorable

by Lenie   Jun 17, 2005

Enlightened by the hope that
I found a true friend,
Life has in itself purpose & meaning
Even in solitude and depression,
I remain
Noting and thinking of the caresses you extend.
In just a few days, up-side-down turn the events
That you even learned to abhor my words, and
knowing no mistake,
Condonation never asked, hence
Sacrificing then the joys which
I will miss.
And so time passes that
We remain aloof and apart,
Not even greeting each other
When we meet
Just holding on to the true emotions
Felt unto our hearts but still don't quit.
And now thinking of those moments
In our bygone days,
Nothing is memorable that,
When we were friends.
