In a matter of Time

by Lithium   Jun 17, 2005

His soft pure skin,
Lips a tantalizing red,
Looking into his eyes a deadly sin,
Blonde hair flowing through the wind upon his head,

To love you again may be a big mistake,
Be broken once more,
Feelings coming back to fast to take,
Turning round to fast connecting with the floor,

Putting the past behind,
It’s easier then day becoming night,
To place my hands upon your body looking to find,
The love that made my dark into light,

I’d sing for you in just a matter of time,
I’ve cut your name in crimson blood upon myself,
Finding you was a blessing but also an incorrect sign,
All the feelings of friendship and love have been badly dealt,

If I don’t wake to see you again,
I want you to know I’d write a million more lines,
Say a lot more things make everything right and sane,
In a matter of time.

Dedicated to Mark.
