What I love the Most

by amandaa   Jun 17, 2005

When it comes to something I love the most,
I have to hold my tongue, in hopes
that I won't Boast.

Well, boy, let your imagination run wild,
and
Just for a little while,
Write down everything you've ever felt,
Let your mind just melt,
Into a blank piece of paper
And a pen full of ink,
Just take a minute,
To stop and think....

Think of all the joy,
Think, young boy,
Think of all the sadness,
Cry for all the pain,
Put it all on paper,
Nothing feels the same.

Write down all your feelings
Draw pictures with your words
Sometimes it's so emotional,
It maybe even hurts.

Come, young girl,
Tell me about your world,
Write it all down.
A blank paper
and a pen full of ink
Just take a minute,
To stop and think....

Think of something scary
That makes your blood run cold,
Think of being young,
Imagine being old.

Think of fiery anger
And what it does to love,
Think of the Highest One
Who watches from Above.

Think of all your blessings,
Think of family and friends,
Imagine the Apocalypse,
When life come to an end.

Send shivers up my spine,
Come, young girl, make the picture mine
Of blood
And anger
And what you fear the most.
In hopes that you won't boast,
hold your tongue!!!!

Well, let everything you feel
Unwind and unwheel,
Let your feelings and emotions take flight,
Tell me about your world,
Paint pictures of your life.

And when it comes to the thing you love the most.
Hold your tongue in
hopes you won't boast.
