Worlds

by katie!   Jun 17, 2005

Eternity folding in over me so easily and swiftly
Enveloping me in a blanket of shadow ripped memory
Reeds tower high, stretching their mysterious fingers to the sky
Time an enemy and a friend, turning this world by

Distant calls, untraceable among the glistening lake
Water rippled with reflections of past free to take
Mingled with future, blurring across the moonlight
Watching a gold dappled freedom take flight

Whispers of the wind, follow the dawn suns rays
Meandering with the tricking golden troops of haze
Eyes made of clouds, sprinkled with pain and hate
Controlling the candy cane skies wrapped in fate

Blood red grass, runs into the valley of hope
Where the mutilations are banished to cope
Deemed unworthy by the souls of denial and pretence
Lost in a future warped world of past tense

Children of the unbreathing are arising from waters deep
From the undying roses, the red shadows weep
Praises for the heavens that delusioned us to die
Disperse back to ground, with the silent tears we cry...
