Hatred and Strenght

by noraida   Jun 17, 2005

My life has been a story of surviving the struggle of an unhappy home.
To come from a world where words where of hatred, hurt, and despair.
When hate became guiltiness of things that where said.
A mother witch's childhood was never there.
Taken from her at early age.
Because of what ifs and who's child will she bare.
Her mother a drunken woman.
Made her daughter's life a living hell.
To work in her bar serving drunks.
That is all she wanted to make her liquor sell.
Her child taken from her and at his 7 years of life she saw the son she never knew.
But to him she was a drunken woman that just passed thru there.
What a Life of struggle has she bared.
A father that escaped at early age depression of an island full of aggression.
To only learn that the one's that gave him life.
A man's hand there essence took.
My dear father keeps the strength that they never shook.
But as you can see.
Hatred you get and that you will receive.
Give strength and there's nothing that can be beat.
Mother you gave us what you received.
Forgiveness is the word that in my heart beats.
And father you gave us the strength to go beyond what our eyes did see.
