This poem was really really sad and it really brought tears to my eyes and not that many poems do that so great job...nice word choice also..

I am so sorry. My "father" was/is an alcoholic (not real bad) and a druggie (real bad). In some ways I can relate. I am deeply sorry you had to go through that unnecessary pain. It's good that you can write about it...it helps. Just keep being the brilliant poet you are and spill your anguish.
