I wish you had at least tried.
I was taken in by the silly games you played

It’s amazing how a lie can shatter everything
Especially when it’s something you’re not expecting.
I loved you, I believed you I was really taken in
Hook, line and sinker, I found it shattering.
But its no good wallowing in self pity I need to get on in life
Put these things behind me all the troubles and the strife
Find someone to replace you, repair my broken heart
