Driving drunk (sad very sad)

by Akida   Jun 18, 2005

I still remember that night.
The Night you had to drink and drive.
I asked if we could go home
You said hold on, so I went to go use the phone
I heard the chants and the cheers
I saw you drink from a keg of beer.
Fearing the worst I asked for the keys.
You said "Baby let me be"
I walk away and stood by the door
While you stood there and drank some more
This was the night you decided to drink and drive
You took the keys and went outside.
You said lets take a ride
I told you I wanted to drive
You got in the car and yelled at me to get in too.
You drove fast and I screamed and didn't know what to do.
You drove so fast down the street.
I told you to watch out but you didn't see.
This is what happened when someone drinks and drives
You hit someone and crashed into the tree.
I got out the car and saw where she was
She was pinned between the car and the tree.
I couldn't help it, I just screamed.
I couldn't tell but you seemed knocked out
Now, I wished you would've taken another route.
This is what happened when I was drunk and drove
If this happened to you, you would know.
Not only would you hate you're alive
You have taken someone else's life.
This is what happened when you drink and drive.

*I wrote it but it never happened before . . . plz comment! Thanx for
