thats an amazing poem, I really love it! I can relate to that too... everyone thinks your having the time of your life when your younger... but theres just so much crap that some people never see! Keep up the good work.

I love your poems, because I can feel taht I really can relate to you. You make it seem so real, and I really love these lines so much. I was a cutter sooo... I know how you feel

16 years of age, supposedly having the time of my life,
Who is near to see me pose with a carving knife?
I can feel myself going under, digging a deeper hole,
Loosing all strength, maybe to loose my soul.

But somewhere deep down inside of my heart,
There is someone or something that won’t let me depart,
I cannot seem to find the key that opens they secret door,
Where I can be in a state of bliss and have wings to soar.

I know that as long as I’m capable to push ahead,
I can banish the pain and patiently wait for ‘it’ instead,
But first I must acknowledge and defeat,
That I’ll never again be young, innocent and sweet.
