Safe within your arms,
Loved by your caring heart.

For just one moment i thought you cared.
For asking me if i was alright,
For being there when i was sad.

For just one moment i thought it was real.
You and me together like this,
Holding hands with each other.

For just one moment i thought it would never end.
The way you looked at,
The way you touched my skin.

Now that moment has passed and I've come to see,
that you really never cared about me.

You lied every time you spoke, and you weren't truthful to me.
You new what you were doing and you were out to hurt me.

Well, you got what you wanted, now my heart is split in two.
because i cared so much for someone so deceiving as you.
