The Story

Once upon a time
There was a girl and a boy
The girl was very much in love
The girl was the boy’s toy

She went out with him once
And got her heart shattered to pieces
She said she’d never forgive him
At least that was her thesis

The girl was alone
As time passed by
Without the boy
The girl wanted to die

The boy finally came back
He said he lost his chance
He said so many sweet things
That the girl’s heart danced

Now that they were back together
Nothing could go wrong
Everything seemed perfect
Since he came along

More time passed by
And they became inseparable
She became dependent on his love
Without it life would be unbearable

Blinded by her love
The girl ignored her friends
Their warnings were
“Be careful he’ll break your heart in the end.”

She confronted him about their accusations
He said not to worry everything will be fine
She believed him whole-heartedly
She took this as a sign

Unbeknownst to her
Their love was dying
He was in love with another
She would soon be crying

Even though he acted fine
She knew the end was coming
She was in denial
She could feel her heart numbing

She held on as long as she could
Knowing he was messing around with another
Till he handed her a note
No where in it did it say he loved some other

In the note he claimed
That it wasn’t her, it was him
All he could think about was sex
He wanted to save himself from sin

She wanted to believe him
But she knew better than that
He was lying to her
She knew it for a fact

She went home to an empty house
And found herself in a fight
She wanted to be strong
She cried herself to sleep that night

She woke up the next morning
And just laid in bed
She realized she had slept all night
With the phone by her head

Time has passed by
And now they’re just friends
Exactly four months has come and gone
Since their relationship came to an end

I still love him
Even though he is with another
I’ll sit here and wait
Until he wants to get back together
