At first you're scared, but curious too
You try it once, and now its hooked you
You go back for seconds and thirds
Then lose track, its all a blur
Keep it going, you keep it flowing
Little by little body and mind slowing
You were so high, now coming down
You notice life going on around
Its too hard to handle, when you're so low
Now back up, you're on the go
But this time its different
You cant reach that ultimate plateau
So you try harder, climbing higher
Too much now, you're on fire
But theres a price to pay
Before you know it
This addicting way of life
Will burn you out
