Forever, okay?

Walking through the halls, an she fell to the floor
apparently she was hit by a door
she looked up an saw a gorgeous man
he apologized an helped her stand

he offered to take her out that night
she looked so beautiful in the moonlight.
wind blowing through her hair
they kissed all night without a care

after that, they were never apart
they were linked together heart in heart.
\"high schools best couple\", was the title they were named
their love for each other made them famed.

years later they were wed
had 4 children that they would put in bed.
such a happy family til one day
daddy was called to go away
in the army to fight in war
they all prayed that they would be together once more

as daddy was about to go
the only thing he had to say
We\'ll be together forever, okay?

    please comment on this! it took me a while to write! this is a story about about a family friend and her family. this is totally true... her husband was sent into Iraq, but was killed the first week he was there.. so now he has left a greiving family behind. an those words. we'll be together forever, okay? were the last words he ever got to say to his wife. so this poem is dedicated to the wife an her family
