I'm not saying I'm going to give you my heart
I can't just give you my heart
It's been broken and it doesn't want to be broken again
So don't expect me to rush and give you my heart
I'm not ready right now and I don't know when it will be
I don't want to give you my love
There is a chance you might not love back
It's happened before
What's stopping it happening again
I thought he loved me
But now I know the truth
He thought I didn't care so he played me
He cheated on me not once or twice but three times
Sure it was ages ago
But it still happened
I trusted him
What am I meant to do?
Get on with life
Let it happen again
Or stand up
Not let it happen again
Even if it means
Not to love again
