You read the poem,
You started to cry,
I tried to explain but you walled off,
So please here me out and let me try.

You misunderstood,
Your didn’t see the date,
You didn’t let me say,
You didn’t let me set it straight.

Mum I tried to explain,
It’s my way to get my feeling out,
Seeing that you hardly listen to me,
So please don’t let me shout.

I do love you,
But you make it hard,
For me to talk to you,
But you seem to only understand when it on a card.

So when you get the time,
Please read this,
Please understand that I don love you,
And I wish this was an easy bliss.

Dedicated to my mum, who I do love even if she doesn’t think so.
