The way I see you

by Suzy   Jun 19, 2005

When I look at you
I hate what I see
It makes me cry out loud
breaking down before your eyes
It hurts because you are me

It hurts me to see you as i glance in the mirror
I hate looking at what you have become
I hate it most of all because it is my fault
It is what I've done

Always pushing you
Nothing you do is every good enough
You will be beautiful if you just try
no you'll never be beautiful
you're just too ugly that it makes me cry

I hate how weak you are
why are you such a failure!?
you're always running away from everything, everyone
But you never seem to get far

I used to have so much love for you
how did it all disapear?
There is no respect for you anymore
All i see when i gaze into your eyes
Is an empty space, they're sad
I can sense your fear

When I look at you all I see is a disgrace
You're weak, ugly! all i feel is shame
I have to turn away
I can't stand the sight of your face

Everything about you leaves me broken and in tears
How did you get so depressed, so empty
You're a box that holds my secrets, lies, my greatest fears

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!
I look at you and I hate what I see
All i feel is hate for what is before me

I hate myself
I hate you
And I hate what I see
And it's all because you are me

Well the structure was wacky, but the poem was good. The only reason structure is imporant, is to keep the same ideas together, and to make your poem stronger. But I like your stuff ;)
