Father's day

You are there for me when I need you
To watch me pass and to see me through
To make sure all my decisions are right
To help to guide me towards the light.

We don’t always agree what’s wrong or right
And there are times we sit and fight
But no matter what you are important to me
You have been there since I first could see

You keep me safe and out of harm
If there is danger you raise alarm
These are some things I wanted to say
While wishing you a happy father’s day
