Better off dead

by tanya   Jun 19, 2005

Sealed in tight
light so bright
she's been trapped
in her room at night.
once again she'll scream out loud
her parents don't listen,
she cant make them proud.
her problems are taking over
she can't concentrate in school,
she knows her life is over
everyone is cruel.
a few friends she can rely on,
a few teachers that seem to care,
she wonders if they'll notice
if one day she isn't there.
a smile in the morning
that wont show how much she hates,
she sees this as her destiny,
in her mind she wont debate.
she opens up her schoolbag,
and pulls out the blade,
no longer will people hurt her,
all her dreams will be delayed.
she wont have to face them,
their words messed with her head,
for days she's been telling herself,
'' i'd be better off dead''..
