The feeling I get from this is...quiet and sad...even though quiet isn't a feeling but oh well...

I, too, had a reaction of love, empathy, understanding, and relation as sweetenigma said...I didn't have a second thought like she did though...it just makes me think of so many people, all of which I want to reach out to...some unreachable... =(

"and actually wanted or cared to know why"

^ I was thinking it might be good to change it to something as, "and actually wanted or bothered to know why" ...just for a little variation in wording.
