Every night shes asking the stars,
For the answers
To the questions in her head.
Why she has to feel this way,
When she could be loved instead.
Shes been asking the silver moon,
Every single night.
Why things had to turn out so wrong,
When they felt so right.

Shes lost, but isn't trying to find her way,
Shes scared, but she doesn't want to run away.
She smiles, when really she just wants to cry.

Shed do anything for him,
Walk the world, suffer, and fight.
She wishes she was everything
To be seen in his eyes.
At night she wishes
And every day she tries.
She wants to know the joy,
Of being held in the comforting arms,
Of a loving, caring boy.
She knows she has to leave him,
But she knows she cant try.
