I no longer know you and, I don’t want, or really care,
All the love I had for you has vanished in thin air.
You said you’d never leave me we were soul mates for all time,
But now our time has finished and our souls are left behind.

Love can last forever or just a little while,
Ours is now a memory I’ll delete it from my file.
It’s time to look at what’s ahead, start my life anew,
Investigate the options, for a life that won’t have you.

Maybe in this lifetime I’ll find someone to share
I’ll find that certain person who’s more honest and sincere.
This time I won’t be looking for more than just a friend
Someone I’m content with a heart that I can tend
