I'm Still Holding On

by Yvette Gibson   Jun 19, 2005

I'm holding on by a thread
my hands are griping the side of my bed
I see my death though both eyes
the slow pain, the tears I cry
the light is close I feel it's warmth
I'm still here holding on
I cold Sharp feel around my wrist
the burning pain the rope I twist
my tears are falling off my cheer
I'm falling of the edge of my peak
I'm still holding on
my sleep is coming near
my eyes are closing like shears
I slowly coming to a end
I'm still holding on
I don't know how long this will last
people thinking that I'm an @$$
I can't go back
might must go on I've been stabbed in the back
I'm still holding on
