I look

I look at the stars,
and i see them shine.
I climb the mountain,
and victory is mine.

I reach for the star,
and i grasp it tight,
i pull it down,
out of the starry night.

I look at the sun,
in the middle of day,
and i notice it shines,
like it's trying to say,

"Reach for a star,
and hold it dear.
For that star you grasp,
will make everything clear."

Then i look at the water,
and i see in the blue,
a small little fish,
smiling so true.

It's as if it is saying
to be happier each day
because time passes by
as i watch and lay.

Life isn't perfect,
yes it's true
but everything's better,
if you just be you.
