been standing here far too long waiting for the courage to come along.
Left standing here, in the cold
looking straight at your door.
Wish we could just be one
but you have no idea where i come from.
my love for you is so extreme
but will it be for you supreme?
I have only met you once
and it was so long ago
but here i am
standing with a rose.
What to say, what to do
how shall i confront you?
Still standing here in front of your door
shall i knock, or shall i call?
This door is terrorizing me
not being able to see
if you are home or if you are gone.
should i stay, or should i return.
colors are dull and things are cold
summer has gone
and now its fall.
What used to be bright
now is dark
the petals of my rose
are falling off.
Seasons are changing
but I'm still here
waiting for you to someday appear.
