Ratings

My poetry is being rated
some good, some bad
whatever they are
I'm never sad

They tell me the truth
there just opinions
it doesn't matter
doesn't hurt my feelings

These ratings are from the heart
sometimes I can't take them to the heart
but I've had some good ones
from the start

Five stars
four, three or two
maybe even an one
but I do what I have to do

As it goes on they add up
finally you have a ranking
but no matter how good or bad the ratings are
I am going to keep on writing.
